Join Nestucca Neskowin and Sand Lake Watersheds Council (NNSLWC), Headlands Adventure, and SOLVE in Pacific City on April 22nd from 10:00AM to 1:00PM for a beach cleanup to celebrate Earth Day!
This event is part of the annual Spring Oregon Beach Cleanup with SOLVE. It is a statewide effort to improve our communities through beach cleanups, litter cleanups, tree plantings, and restoration events; which we are all honored to participate in.
Please be prepared by dressing for any weather. Bags and gloves will be provided, but we encourage you to bring any equipment you might have such as your own gloves, buckets, grabbers, and colanders to aid in the cleanup.
Meet us in Pacific City near the boat ramp of the Cape Kiwanda parking area. There is parking and public restrooms at Cape Kiwanda and also at the Bob Straub State Park or at the Tillamook County Boat Landing on Sunset Drive if you decide to do the cleanup further down the beach after signing in.
NNSLWC and Headlands Adventures will have a booth to get supplies, information, and will be holding a raffle for volunteers with several great prizes.
We hope to see you there for this volunteer adventure!
