Tillamook County Library Foundation is pleased to announce the highly anticipated Maxwell Library Park Dedication, set to take place on August 20th, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. This momentous event will bring together community members, dignitaries, and library enthusiasts to celebrate the expansion of library spaces and their positive impact on the community. The dedication will take place at Maxwell Library Park, located at 1716 Third Street in Tillamook, OR.
The theme of the event, “Library Spaces Grow Communities,” highlights the significant role libraries play in community growth, learning, and connection. The Maxwell Library Park Dedication signifies the Tillamook County Library’s commitment to providing enhanced spaces for the community to gather, learn, and explore.
Esteemed speakers, including local officials, community leaders, and representatives from the Tillamook County Library Foundation, will share their thoughts on the importance of library spaces in the community. A grand ribbon-cutting ceremony across the newly built library stage will herald the official opening of Maxwell Library Park.
Attendees of all ages will have the opportunity to partake in various engaging activities throughout the event. The band Tillamarimba will grace the stage, delighting guests with their vibrant and captivating music. To further enhance the celebratory atmosphere, attendees will be treated to refreshments.
