Plan to spend more than a minute when you make a stop at Jane’s Fabric Patch in the iconic pink house. The explosion of color when you walk in the door is every quilter’s dream. The knitters dream is located just down the street. Tangled Yarns sells locally-spun yarns as well as popular European yarns.

Madeline’s Vintage Market Place has vintage furniture and home decor. Sunflower Flats creates fresh arrangements daily, and offers a wide variety of gift items. Re:current has fashionable secondhand finds.

Cultural Travelers

Walking inside the largest wood structure in North America is a thing for a bucket list. Visit the Tillamook Air Museum, housed in Hangar B, built for blimps during World War II. Learn about local history at the Tillamook County Pioneer Museum. If you time your visit right, you might even be able to catch a TAPA show in the Barn Community Playhouse.

Family Adventures

Want to squeak like a squirrel? That’s right, squeak like a squirrel. Your kids will love the “squeaky cheese” curds at the Tillamook Creamery. Want to view some farm animals? The Blue Heron French Cheese Company is home to adorable llamas and super-cute goats. If you didn’t get your ice cream earlier, snack on a Tillabar while you watch a movie inside Tillamook’s historic, single-screen Coliseum Theater.
