Pacific City & Cape Kiwanda, Oregon

With its wide, easily accessible beach, restaurants, breweries, lodging, parks and campgrounds, it’s no wonder Pacific City has caught the attention of people who love the Oregon Coast. There’s a lot to do and explore, from hiking to horseback riding, fishing to biking, and eating to relaxing. You choose your adventure.

Home to the historic Dory Fleet

The only Dory Fleet in the lower 48 states, the dory boats are active year-round. Watch as they catch a wave into the ocean, then come full-speed to the beach upon return. Every July, Pacific City celebrates Dory Days and a chance to see the fleet in action and play. And look for eateries that feature dory-caught fish.

Climb, hike, ride, fish, paddle, surf

Pacific City is an outdoor recreation mecca. Climb the sand dune, wander the trails at Bob Straub State Park, kayak with Nestucca Adventures, or try surfing. If horseback riding is your thing, horses are available at Green Acres Beach and Trail Rides. Go fishing on the Nestucca River or with a dory captain. Pacific City is also a world-renown surfing spot. Try it with help from Moment Surf Company.
