We should be seeing some fall colors from the big leaf and vine maples\, maybe even some wild mushrooms! \nWhat to Expect: We will hike along the Nehalem River to Snark Creek (1.5 miles in)\, ~3 miles total. The vegetation in this segment is dense along the path\, please weary sturdy\, closed toed shoes and long pants. DESCRIPTION:Preschool storytime (PS) on Wed @ 10; developmentally appropriate for 3-5 yos; music\, stories\, interactive play and lots of laughs! In this class little begin to learn about a leader at the front of the room\, how to hold their wiggles\, listening and sitting still. When a child is transitioning from TT to PS my expectation is that they will sit for 5-10 minutes and then they might go play. I do not force them to sit still if they are not ready to. \nA couple of things about the children’s room that might set you at ease: \n\nThere is no expectation that it will be a quiet zone; kids are kids and they are allowed to act like themselves in the children’s room.\nOnly 2 hard and fast rules: No Running & No Screaming.\nIf your child needs a snack\, feed them!
