DESCRIPTION:Cultivating Wonder: Botanical Illustration in Ink & Watercolor\, will take place Saturday\, June 27\, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Hoffman Center for the Arts in Manzanita. Participants will sketch and paint in the Hoffman Center’s Wonder Garden while learning beginner-friendly techniques in drawing\, ink\, and watercolor. The workshop is designed for all skill levels and encourages a relaxed\, mindful approach to art. \nTaught by Portland artist and educator Molly Chidsey\, Portland-based illustrator\, watercolor artist\, and educator who teaches workshops throughout the Pacific Northwest. She studied painting and illustration at Pacific Northwest College of Art and specializes in creating welcoming\, beginner-friendly creative experiences. \nThis workshop is open to adults of all experience levels.
